Re: Public land closed due to old Uranium Mines



The biggest threat to public health from these mines is the roof falling 

in on some yahoo who decides to go exploring.  Abandonded mines are 

acutely dangerous, never mind worrying about whether you have an 

additional one-in-a-million chance of getting cancer (whether from 

radiation or heavy metals) 20 years down the road.



Let's get a grip on real risks here.
