Accuracy in Reporting
Group,
this isn't strictly speaking a radiation issue but as accuracy in reporting
of radiation issues is often discussed this just struck me as well...
It is from today's, on line issue of USA Today,
"Iraqi general Ali Hassan al-Majid, nicknamed "Chemical Ali" for his
repeated use of outlawed biological warfare, has been captured and is in
American hands, the U.S. Central Command said Thursday." Italics and bold
added.
Now my understanding has always been that it was chemical warfare that had
been documented to have been used by the Iraqi military, thus the name
"Chemical Ali". I wonder if the goof was USA Today's or Central Commands?
