Re: Hanford Site cleanup standards



Sorry?  I thought I was clear.



The part of the previous message I included mentioned assessment of

possible adverse effects.  Such can be calculated only by using some

risk factor - currently that is LNTH which bring us the differential

"body counts" predicted for the 5 - 25 mrem/yr criteria.



Change the risk factor - change the clean-up



Or to the point - the risk factor determines the predictive answer to

the "wonder what would result" comment.  Its that or producing several

such sites with varying degrees of residual dose and waiting 10,000

years and counting the bodies.
