Rokke at Franklin College

As a followup to my letter to the editor of the Indianapolis Star, I wrote a note to four Franklin College professor, three who apparently sponsored the lecture and the head of the physics department. One of the sponsors just sent me a most courteous reply as follows (I will not include his name):





"Thank you for your concern.  And, we at Franklin College shall all have a healthy skepticism regarding every speaker on our campus -- after all, that is foundational to a liberal arts education!



"Peace,"





In addition to a few other things, I wrote that all I was asking for was a healthy skepticism of Rokke and his comments. The Professor's response is encouraging.



I should note that I learned from the Franklin College website that the sponsors had taken a field trip with about a dozen students to hear Rokke in Bloomington. They and the students seemed to be so impressed that they extended an invitation for him to come to Franklin College and speak.
