Sure.  And the Republicans can fund it as they have

the "no child left behind" act.  And how about all the

support the Federal Government was going to give to

local governments to fight terrorism.  



In reality, the voting public has a short memory.  Who

will remember what was promised after the elections

this year?  Do you remember that the Bush

Administration started with a projected budget

surplus?
