FX LOCKS CAST FOR ITS

ORIGINAL MOVIE MELTDOWN

and Arnold Vosloo Head Cast.

Nuclear Thriller Directed By Jeremiah S. Chechik.

Scheduled To Premiere In June.

LOS ANGELES, March 11, 2004 - FX has signed actors Bruce Greenwood (Thirteen Days, Double Jeopardy), Leslie Hope (24, Line of Fire), James Remar (2 Fast 2 Furious, Sex & The City) and Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy) for its next original movie Meltdown. Craig Anderson and Beth Grossbard executive produce for Craig Anderson Productions along with Jan Korbelin for ApolloScreen GmbH & Co. Filmproduktion KG. Written by Larry & Paul Barber (The Director), the movie will be directed by Jeremiah S. Chechik (Diabolique).

Meltdown is a fictional tale that explores the preparedness of one nuclear facility if under attack by terrorist interests. Production has begun in Vancouver and the movie will air on FX in June of this year.

"Meltdown elevates the genre for the FX brand," said Gerard Bocaccio, Senior Vice President of Entertainment for the cable network. "On the surface, the audience will believe one thing but will quickly realize there are many different agendas in play -- and nothing is quite what it seems. Coupled with the visual urgency Jeremiah will deliver, we hope to create an action film that takes the audience on a visceral ride but leaves them buzzing once they understand the truth of the story."

"This cautionary tale needs a group of intense actors that won't flinch under real pressure," said Executive Producer Craig Anderson of the cast. "Our actors are awesome at portraying true-to-life, gritty and strong personalities. We are very lucky to have such a skilled cast that will make the audience feel like they are in the middle of a true nightmare."

Greenwood gained critical acclaim playing President John F. Kennedy in the feature Thirteen Days. He has also appeared in the films Double Jeopardy, The Core and Hollywood Homicide. Greenwood's television work includes the Showtime miniseries A Girl Thing and multiple guest appearances on HBO's The Larry Sanders Show.

Hope, who currently stars on the ABC drama Line of Fire, is best known for her role as Kiefer Sutherland's wife on the FOX series 24. She also starred in the Lifetime movie This Much I Know and burst onto the scene in Oliver Stone's Talk Radio, starring Eric Bogosian.

Remar most recently starred in HBO's Sex & The City as Kim Cattrall's love interest. His distinguished career includes both feature films and television, including 2 Fast 2 Furious and the upcoming TNT miniseries, The Grid. He is also set to star in the next installment of Blade with Wesley Snipes.

Vosloo's most memorable role was opposite Brendan Fraser in both The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. He also starred in the Darkman film series and Ridley Scott's 1492: Conquest of Paradise. His numerous television credits include appearances on ABC's Alias, The WB's Charmed and CBS's Nash Bridges.

FX has made its mark in the arena of original movies, delivering high-profile event films airing on a quarterly basis. Redemption, starring Jamie Foxx and Lynn Whitfield, will premiere Sunday, April 11, 2004 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Other titles include The Pentagon Papers (James Spader, Claire Forlani, Alan Arkin), RFK (Linus Roache, James Cromwell and David Paymer), Sins of the Father (Tom Sizemore, Richard Jenkins and Ving Rhames), A Glimpse of Hell (James Caan, Robert Sean Leonard) and Deliberate Intent (Timothy Hutton).

FX is the flagship general entertainment basic cable network from Fox. Launched in June of 1994, FX is carried in more than 83 million homes. The diverse schedule includes a growing roster of distinctive original series and movies; an impressive roster of acquired hit series; an established film library with box-office hits from 20th Century Fox; and marquee sports such as NASCAR.
