RE: John Jerry editorial on Yucca Mountain
Err - might I point out that Chevron headquarters is in California, along (if I recall correctly) with several others. And there are refineries for several companies in the SF Bay area near Benicia and Richmond.

Gas prices in my area are around $1.99 per gallon ..... about 50% below the
price in England or France or Germany or ......

I have nothing against a politician, or anyone else,
changing their mind. What I worry about is being lead
into the path of an on-coming train.
I also agree with Ruth, this election will not be
based on nuclear power or nuclear waste disposal. It
will be the economy. By the way, how are the gas
prices where you are?
