RE: An HP Position is Open in Texas [License Reviewer, IndustrialLicensing Program]

Hi All,

Can we quit harassing the folks who work for the state of Texas. I am surprised these folks even bother to put this stuff on Radsafe because of the all the grief they get. Search the archives....we've done this before. EVERY TIME a representative from the state of Texas sends a courtesy post to Radsafe this seems to happen. I will now return to my usual lurking mode.

Happy Friday and Memorial Day weekend All,

Linda Sewell

Wow. I had thought at one time to relocate to Austin, just because I like the culture there. But this salary seems unusually low. I know that pay is also commensurate with area cost of living, but the Austin area is getting expensive. The lower range of this offered salary is what I make now, but the COL where I am is relatively low, so then the salaries are also less (Median annual income here is just under $18k according to the 2000 census. No, not a typo.). Perhaps this may be related to lower state appropriated funding for this position?
