Warm Dice

I guess this trick has been around a while. Here is an article from August

2002 http://www.responsiblegambling.org/articles/081602_31.pdf that outlines

a similar incident.

"Thai police arrest three people using radioactive chemical to coat cards

and dice designed to help gamblers cheat.- August 9, 2002. Associated

Press.(Arrests were made) Thursday after police allegedly found game

paraphernalia marked with radioactive strontium, police Maj. Surasit

Sangaphong said. The radioactive strontium was painted onto dice and cards,

where it could be detected by an electronic sensor held by a gambler,

officials said. Police seized the goods in a Bangkok raid at the request of

the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, which intercepted parcels of the

items sent to the United States, Surasit said. He did not say how many sets

of the cards and dice were found or the amount of the chemical confiscated.

U.S. officials were not immediately available for comment. "
