Air Emission Regulations Poll - Please respond to me

Hi All

I am looking into how radioactive air emissions are being regulated across the country. I would really appreciate it if many of you would take the time please send me (not the poor mailing list) answers to the following poll. Most answers are yes or no, but please feel free to give me more info if you have time. I will summarize the results, stripping any indentifying information from the summation.

Air Emissions Poll - Bruce Busby, bbusby@fhcrc.org - fax: 206-667-4048

What type of license is your facility?

What State (or country) is your facility in?

Are radioactive air emissions regulated from your facility?

What agency regulates radioactive air emissions for your facility?

Does your regulatory agency have separate radioactive air emission regulations?

Are you required to have a separate Air Operating Permit for radioactive air emissions?

Is radioactive air emissions part of your radioactive materials license?

Do you have to pay separate fees for air emission regulation/review?

What does your facility have to do to demonstrate compliance with radioactive air emissions limits?

If your facility is building a new building that will have radioactive air emissions, what are you required to do for a new building?

If your facility has multiple buildings, does your regulatory agency treat each as an emissions source or your whole campus as one source?

Do you do effluent air monitoring at your facility? If yes, what was the trigger level above which caused you to perform monitoring?

-----------------------------------------------------

Again, please send this to me bbusby@fhcrc.org or fax: 206-667-4048, not the mailing list (watch the Reply All button!).

Thank you!
