RE: Hormetic Effects of Radiation should not be limited to cancer

I continue to believe that there are really two issue

or types of studies. Cellular research will help to

determine the mechanism of radiation effects. This

involves the study of DNA repair, bystander effects,

etc., and is science

The second issue is using radiological studies to

ensure the safety of workers and the public. In this

case, epidemiological studies should be used. The LNT

is based on epidemiological studies and is a

REGULATORY tool. However, the limits are not clearly

stated, which makes it dogma.
