I donít know if any of you noticed, but the FDA posted a notice of public meeting and request for comments in todayís Federal Register regarding Radioactive Drug Research Committees and the FDAís regulation of them. You can view the Federal Register notice at http://a257.g.akamaitech.net/7/257/2422/06jun20041800/edocket.access.gpo.gov/2004/pdf/04-22354.pdf. There are no specific regulatory changes within the posting. It looks like they are simply fishing for potential changes to the regulations.

The meeting is on November 16th in Rockville, MD. I wonder if it might be a good idea to have someone from the HPS Medical Health Physics Section attend the meeting and report back to the board members what happens at the meeting. (Maybe someone in the area or who is already planning on attending the meeting?) Thoughts?
