Subject: Inquiry on Chernobyl

Can any of the list's Chernobyl experts give me estimates on the whole body

doses received by the first responders in that event? And, the estimated

average and maximum dose-rates to which they were exposed during the initial

response. I don't need a lot of detail, just some good ballpark figures,

and possibly a reliable reference or two.

Thank you,

Barbara
