Re:RE: Rep. Ed Markey Press Release

I went to the websites; one sells CO-60 equipment but specifically excludes

the sources, one links through an intermediary to Canberra with their

deadly calibration/check sources for sale, one is an FM radio station in

the UK, and one sells med equipment and calibration sources. Logwell does

trade in some toasty logging sources. Pretty sloppy fact checking for a

congressman. Obviously political hay is being made.

It did not appear to be really malicious to me, just a noting

       of concern

about controls that could be addressed. You can always lodge a

       complaint

with their office, of course. Out of curiosity, why the rather

       odd http

       address?

I came across this press release purely by accident:

       http://www.house.gov/markey/Issues/iss_dirtybombs_pr041202.pdf

I am very angry that he mentions my website as if we are guilty

       of some

impropriety. Neither he, nor his office, contacted us in any

       form or

fashion concerning the implied allegation that we somehow might

facilitate the transfer of a sealed source to a terrorist.

       This is

inexcusable fear mongering and character assassination.
