Re: PAVAN computer code



Unix is an operating system as is Windows XP, not a programming 

language.  PAVAN is written in Fortran IV to run on old IBM mainframes 

and would probably need some tweaking to compile with a modern Fortran 

compiler, so you will need source code.  For that, you will need to 

register with RSICC (www-rsicc.ornl.gov).  There may also be a fee involved.



If you really mean you want to run it in a *nix environment on a PC 

running XP, look at Cygwin.
