Dear RadSafers,
Important! Please read the instructions below about movement of the
RadSafe mailinglist.
As mentioned in a previous message on this list RadSafe has found a new
moderator (Marcel Schouwenburg of the Delft University of Technology in
the Netherlands). Because of this the list will be moved to another
server.
When will this change (move) happen?
On Saturday February 5, 2005 at 15.00 hours (Amsterdam time, GMT+1) the
list will be moved.
What does it mean for you as a listmember?
Only one thing! Changing the lists email address in your addressbook.
Please change the old RadSafe listaddress (radsafe at list.vanderbilt.edu)
into radsafe at radlab.nl
Use this new email address to post message to the list as from Feb 5,
Amsterdam time, GMT+1.
Will there be a downtime of the list?
No. The movement will cause no downtime. Therefore, it is not necessary to
wait if you would like to sent a message to RadSafe. Just be sure you are
using the new email address.
The current membershiplist used on the new server (radlab.nl) is slightly
outdated. This is only important for members who (very) recently
subscribed or unsubscribed or made a change in their subscription (like a
change to receive digests).
To be sure also very new members will receive this info, it is sent
through both the new (at radlab.nl) and the old listaddress at
list.vanderbilt.edu. Because of this most of you will get this email
message twice and I would like to ask your understanding for this. Just
keep one of this messages for future reference.
Passwords
The new RadSafe list is using passwords to subscribe/unsubscribe, change
the way you receive messages (plain or digest), etc. Therefore, a second
message will be send to you (on Saturday February 5) containing your
RadSafe list password. I suggest you archive this message for future
reference. However, if you ever forget or lose this password you can
allways get a reminder. This reminder will be sent to the email address
you used to subscribe to RadSafe.
You do not need this password to send messages to the list!

About the archives.
The archives will also be moved to the new server. This will take some
time. During this process the archives at www.vanderbilt.edu/radsafe will
remain available. As soon as the complete archives are moved to the new
server you will receive a notification.
Of course, a search engine will also be available as soon as all the
archives are in place.
If you have any questions about the movement of the list, please don't
hesitate to contact me at:
m.schouwenburg at iri.tudelft.nl
With kind regards,
Marcel Schouwenburg
RadSafe moderator (as of February 5, 2005).
