Copyright and universities working under government grants and the like is a
funny and at times fickle thing.
Much of what I do under various federal grants are still able to be legally
copyrighted by my employer, the Texas A & M University System.
How this all works is a thing for the intellectual property (IP) lawyer
types and here at A & M of the 13 JD's we have ON STAFF 6 are IP attornies so
they play this game well in the world of Academia.
