>The University of California at Berkeley (UCB) is sponsoring a 
>Health Physics Technician training class.   Originally, this class 
>was to be for only UC participants; however, we have a few vacancies 
>for others.  The training class will be offered at UCB on 4/4/2005 
>through 4/7/2005.  This course provides special multidisciplinary 
>review of radiation  safety and health physics operational 
>techniques. Additionally, this course will include fundamentals of 
>radiation and radioactive material safety.  Instruction will also 
>include some practical training in instrumentation, spill cleanup, 
>monitoring, calibrations, and calculations.
