[ RadSafe ] AW: Residential radon - radon progeny - risk

>From the recent comments on the radon impact I draw the conclusion, that
many RADSAFErs confuse "radon" with "radon progeny".

While radon is a noble gas, which is after inhalation exhaled, the progeny
might be deposited in the lungs, depending on particle size, temperature,
barometric pressure etc. There never is an equilibrium between radon and
daughters anywhere, might it be mines or homes. Radon progeny might be (or
will be) attached to aerosols. At constant radon concentrations the
attachment to aerosols might make a very big difference. Any more
information on that topic can be found on the internet, at the RADSAFE
archives or at the Journal of Common Sense. 

O.K., everybody of you should know that. Why do you not take it into account
when posting to RADSAFE?
