No ... I feel like I've already bugged them too much just reminding them to
send the disks. They need to hear more from the membership directly. It was
nice when Lou Pitchford was in charge of the Newsletter because he placed a
high priority on helping us out with the BBS. The current management has
different priorities and is probably not as excited about the BBS
as Lew was, and that's o.k. I'm really not trying to criticize; I know how
busy they all are at the Newsletter. I don't get any support or official
sponsorship from the HPS for doing this, so I'm just doing my part, but I
don't want this to turn into real *work*. I can keep it running and maintain
this list with a very modest amount of effort. I have to depend on the rest
of you to help promote this idea and keep it inexpensive. It's a cooperative
effort. This is why it's important for the users of this resource to speak
up and let the Society know whether it's worth supporting or not. It's up
to you.
