Billing for Services

Our radiation safety program has recoverred all research costs
under indirect charges.  With reductions in federal dollars, we are
being asked to bill investigators in the most cost effective manner
possible.  Billing on a per hour per service basis is very staff
intensive.  Bookkeeping alone would require aditional staff.  I'd
appreciate any ideas on how other instituions are dealing with cost
recoveries.
