Your point is very clear and well taken - and I wholly agree.

BUT you are NOT the export situation I was referring to - even though I 
didn't make that clear!

Since you are an HP and a programmer you CAN take other peoples database 
code and mold it to suit you - you could and would also write your own.

The users I am referring to are NOT programmers at all and could NOT write 
their own or very well understand someone elses - this is why they are 
looking for something already done.

It is in those situations where there is not a resident database programmer 
and HP that the imported homebrew caves in!

I think you would support that contention!?
