The University of Washington is seeking a dynamic and experienced 

professional to the direct campus wide Environmental Health and Safety 

programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the 

operational, financial and personnel activities of the department of 

Environmental Health and Safety as well provide leadership and advice 

to the University on all matters pertaining to environmental 

health and safety. Responsibilities are in the areas of Biological, 

Chemical, Fire, Radiation, Industrial and Occupational Health and 

Safety. The director provides administrative leadership and direction 

to a full time staff of 58. The successful candidate will have a 

Master's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health Administration, 

Health Physics or a closely related field, six years of experience in a 

field of safety & industrial hygiene, with three years of experience 

managing a comprehensive safety program. Experience working in a 

university environment highly desirable. Salary Range: $5,853 - 7,656
