TITLE: FUNDAMENTALS OF RADIOLOGICAL HEALTH PHYSICS
This five-day course provides coverage of the fundamentals of radiological
sclences and protection, including: introduction to atomic and nuclear
physics, natural and artificial radioactivity, nuclear reactions, interactions
of radiation with matter, radiation quantities and units, principles of
radiation detection, health physics survey and counting instrumentation,
external and internal dosimetry, radiation shielding, biological effects of
radiation, radiation protection standards and regulations, air sampling and
analyses, counting statistics and applications, external radiation protection
and practices, and the purpose and design of health physics programs at
radiation facilities.

TITLE: ABHP CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION REVIEW - PARTS I and II
The Certification Review for Health Physicists (CRHP) program is designed to
help prepare participants for Part I and Part II of the American Board of
Health Physics {ABHP) certification examination. The first day of this
course is comprised of concise lectures on health physics fundamentals. The
remainder of the time will be separate, concurrent courses for Part I and Part
II candidates. This time will be dedicated to problem solving and an intensive
review with a full-participation Program.

DATES: January 9-13, 1995 (Monday - Friday)
