Puleeeese, the thing is a REVIGATOR, not a revigorator.

Jim reminded me of the Scientific American article by Macklis on Eben
Byers "The Great Radium Scandal"  Aug 1993. Nice report! This was a
brief version of two papers Macklis put out in JAMA Aug 1, 1990 Vol
264 #5 on the same subject. One of the papers does the Radithor
dosimetry in detail.

For estimates of the amount of radon and radium  the Revigator (and
similar devices) would add to water check Ed Landa's paper in Health
Physics Vol 54 #1 1988.
