NRC's time-to-count technology

Howdy, Radsafers.

Does anyone out there in cyberia have any experience using Nuclear Research
Corporation's (NRC's) GM detectors with Time-To-Count technology?

For those who are not familiar with this technology, the high voltage to
the GM is switched on rapidly and switched off when the first pulse is
recorded. The tube is then given time to recover before the high voltage
is switched on. This is supposed to prevent saturation problems. The
premise is that the time between the application of the high voltage to the
GM tube and the first pulse is inversely proportional to the radiation
field strength.
