RE: Simulation of Radioactive Contamination

I don't know if you would consider this realistic or not, but we held
annual exercises when I was in Georgia.  To simulate radioactive contam-
ination, we put small sealed sources in the clothing of the mannequin
"victims."  It was enough to impress the Emergency Room staff, who were
simply going through the motions of monitoring with G-M meters.

Of course, after the exercise, we accounted for 100 percent of the sources
used.
