iodine face masks

The only respirator cartridge I am aware of that is specifically rated
for iodine as part of its NIOSH approval is the MSA model GMI-H. It is a
two stage filter with a HEPA element followed with the chemical
adsorbent portion which I believe is charcoal doped with something. If
you need to remove the charcoal from the cartridge to count, I am sure
you are faced with devising a way to do it yourself by destroying the
cartridge. I can't imagine anyone getting a NIOSH approval for a design
which is easy to open, and therefore easy to tamper with. These filters
are useful on a wide range of MSA full and half face respirators.

I am trying to locate a radioiodine respirator with the charcoal
filters that can be removed for counting. Does anyone know where I
     can locate this item?
