Texas Job Opening (Pre-Notice)
The Texas Bureau of Radiation Control will soon have a job opening
for an HP III. Because posting times are short (2 weeks) I'm posting
an advance notice. I'll post final details when they become
available.
Where: Texas Bureau of Radiation Control, Austin, Texas
What: General License Specialist, Licensing Branch
When: Good question. Probably posted within the next 10 days.
The position will probably be oen for two weeks. Add a week for
the list to be forwarded and a week to screen. So interviews will be
probably be in about 5-6 weeks.
Salary: approximately $30K/year

General Job Description (unofficial, but close enough):
Does licensing review of applications, requests for amendment and
termination for specific licenses and general license
acknowledgements; Maintains General License databases; aids in
review of decommisioning funding plans, financial security estimates
and financial surety instruments. Performs other Licensing Branch and
Agency functions as directed.
