Robert Shields, a nuclear medicine physicist in Manchester U.K., sent me 
this query wanting to know more about recent pronouncements by John Goffman.

Someone asked me what John Goffman (U.S. anti-radiation campaigner?) had 
said recently about the hazards of medical radiation.  Causing quite a stir?
