The Mother Tongue

Since we've beaten the horse of qualifications and gender to death,
let us now turn to language. "Amen" actually comes from Hebrew,
meaning "May it be so" and has nothing to do with gender, male or
female. Let us pray that the politically correct
virus does not invade the discourse of this net, turning perfectly
useful words into political flames.
Just my little rant. I try to use the native tongue as efficiently
as possible without butchery. Occasionally, I do slip :o (surprised?)
