A word of caution. Be sure you understand the requirements before
using a " commercially availabel" Type A package. Testing
requirements change depending on the physical form of the radioactive
material being shipped in the package. Packages tested at one total
weight will not qualify if the weight of the package is increased.
All testing documentation must be maintained by the shipper for at
least one(?) year after the last shipment using that package, on and
on and on. Just because the package says Type A doesn't mean you can
ship any Type A quantity of any form of any radionuclide in it!
