Hi Everyone,

John White recommended two types of CHP: Technical and Administrative.  The 

idea being that in a big program the RSO has many staff to do the technical 

things.  If that is the case, there is no need for the administrator to 

have any technical talents, only administrative, and would not need 

certification at all.  I do not favor this.  If a RSO is really running a 

large radiation safety program, he/she sould be the most technically 

advanced and proficient of the group ... and have a real CHP.
