Dicus Nomination

Greta Dicus appeared before the Senate Committee on Environment and Public
Works this morning.  The Committee met to consider her nomination to the NRC.
 She did an excellent job before the Committee.

Chairman Chafee expects her nomination to clear committee today and will
attempt to bring the nomination to the Senate floor tomorrow for confirmation
before they recess. 
If it is not acted on tomorrow she will be confirmed immediately upon the
return of the Senate from the August recess.
