     I wonder how this will work out?
     
     
     Both the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and EPA regulate mixed 
     wastes, and waste generators say inconsistencies between the two 
     agencies' regulations make compliance impossible. So NRC and EPA have 
     co-written a draft guidance, published in the Aug. 7 Federal Resister, 
     focusing on: treatment of decay-in-storage mixed wastes, surveillance
     requirements, containers, and waste compatibility.
