Re: I-125 gamma constant
One issue that continues to arise with I-125 and exposure is the x-
ray component. The pure gamma component of 0.07 takes into account
only the 35.5 keV gamma with its 6.5% yield. There is a 136% yield
of k-alpha x-rays with energies from 27.2-31 keV which will effect
the measured exposure and are considerred in the ionization
constant. These terms are often missused and create confusion.
