	But no possible situation goes unregulated, so the boys will soon
	be jumping on the appliance manufacturers big time. If it may cost
	$50-$500 billion just for power line mitigation, how much Impact
	will it have if I have to re-engineer a cheap coffeemaker or
	mixer. You're easily talking doubling the price of some cheap
	appliances. 

	Ye GODS. Think waht that money could do if it was spent on something
	more cost effective. (I can think of several x-way intersections
	and bottlenecks in the Chicago area where reengineering could really 
	save lives.)

	Oh well, any time regulations require a lot of "specialists" in a
	new field, it takes the powers-that-be some time to get around to
	regulating the qualifications of said experts, (I remember when
	all you had to do to become a "Qualified Radiation Expert" In
	Illinois was to write to the state and ask to be put on the list.)
