Re: NORM Question

No such experience per se, but I have noticed an olfactory association.
I've smelled the same offensive odor in three places:

1) Driving past a paper mill,

2) In locations where radium-bearing materials have been in storage for a
very long time, and

3) At the mineral-water wells in Saratoga Spa State (NY) Park, which emit
water containing minute amounts of radium, along with other minerals.

If I were to just "think with my nose", I'd have to believe there's a
connection. But as everyone here 'nose', you can't smell radioactivity.
