Isn't this interesting? This all assumes, of course, that the human species
"evolved" from the mutating chemical soup of eons ago. As an analogy, take
all the pieces that make up a fine Swiss watch, and put them in your pocket.
Now, jump up and down until you hear it start to tick.

For factual dose rates, extrapolate the data back about 6000 years; the time
humans were first placed on the earth.
