RE: Dose Constants

As has been discussed at length in a couple of previous threads,
there is a wide range of dose constants for isotopes with
radiation in this energy range.  It depends grealy on the
question you are asking.  Do you want to know the effective dose
equivalent, the ambient dose equivalent, or the regulatorily
mandated but biologically less meaningful deep dose equivalent?

The values for these constants vary by a factor of about 5 with
the DDE being the largest and the EDE being the smallest.
