ARR BIENNIAL MEETING - BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND



Information for radsafers.

The Association For Radiation Research is holding its Biennial 
General Meeting and Scientific Meeting next year.
The venue is The University of Birmingham, ENGLAND, UK
the date is 1st to 3rd April 1996

There has been a second and final announcement, including the call 
for registration and abstracts.    The programme consists of a core of 
4 symposia with invited keynote lectures.   Contributions covering 
general radiation effects, especially radiation chemistry, biology and 
molecular biology will be incorporated in oral and poster sessions.  
Abstracts will be publishhed in the International Journal of Radiation 
Biology.

The four topics being covered are:
1.  Radiation risks: An update on radiation risk studies from 
Chernobyl, A-bomb survivors, radiation workers, childhood 
cancer/worker linkage studies.
2.  Radiosensitivity
3.  Boron Capture Therapy
4.  Advances in mechanisms of radiation action
+   Oral and Poster sessions
