Re[3]: Dose vs Regs cont'd

     Mr Ogden,

You have a lot of nerve writing a message like that to Sandy, clogging
up the net with your philosophical tirades. Either you or most
everybody else has totally missed the point of this forum. Keep the
net clear?! If it were clear, what would be the point of having it?

I don't always agree with Sandy's opinions on all topics, but I
certainly do find it refreshing and beneficial to have an expert in
the practical side of health physics also be a prolific contributor to
     this forum.

If I interpret her remarks correctly, she was highlighting an area of
regulation directly impacting risk to members of the general public.
She is cautioning us as a society of professionals not to get carried
away and throw out current legislation without sufficient analysis of
     the consequences.

Nasty-grams like the one below truly have no place in this forum. I'm
writing this response in an attempt to repair any damage done by your
dicouraging comments. Not every posting is valuable to everyone, but
if someone with an opinion doesn't post it because they're
intimidated, then we've all lost something.

By the way Sandy, there are studies out there that convincingly refute the
commonly accepted "speed kills" theory. Sounds like health physics doesn't it?

Sandy:

Get a life! Are you the self appointed expert on every issue? Leave
the net alone for serious inquires and replies concerning radiation.

If you would stay off the net a little more often you may be able to
accomplish some real work.

Sorry but I'm tired of always having to go through your un-ending
philosopical tirads.

Keep the net clear.
