Here's the newest.
The NRC has reaffirmed a 1993 ruling that utilities can reduce the
amount of accident insurance on shuttered reactors. The ruling sides
with Portland General Electric, which had sought an exemption from the
Price-Anderson Act, which requires utilities to maintain primary
insurance even on closed facilities.
