Gamma Spec suggestions...

     Here at the U of M we are replacing our Gamma Spec unit as it's
germanium crystal finally bit the dust. We would like something with
computer interface capability (hopefully with spectrum
analysis/identification software).     
     Any suggestions/personal experiences would be appreciated.
     
PS Does anyone have a Phone/Fax # for APTEC (they make a computer card MCA
that we were wondering if it was capable/stable enough to operate a
germanium detector)
