What: Beneficial Reuse '96 Conference

The Beneficial Reuse Conference '96 will take place on October 21-24,
1996 in Knoxville. The conference is co-sponsored by the University of
Tennessee's Energy, Environment, and Resources Center (EERC), the Center
for Risk Management of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), and the
Association of Radioactive Metal Recyclers (ARMR). The primary focus of
the conference will be on radioactive scrap metal (RSM) with supporting
themes of mixed wastes recycling and beneficial reuse strategies.
The conference will include technical and policy tracks, and will explore
radioactive and mixed contaminated products and materials that are
amenable to various recycle and reuse options. The technical track will
features scientific and technical topics regarding the beneficial reuse
of RSM and mixed wastes. The policy track focuses on subjects such as
business management, regulations, and rulemakings.
We welcome any papers and presentations that pertain to the above
mentioned topics. Please send a hard copy of your paper with an one-page
abstract to:
