Apart from the above 4 symposia, proffered contributions covering general radiation effects,
especially radiation chemistry, biology and molecular biology, will be incorporated in
oral and poster sessions.

Instructions for preparing abstracts
Abstracts will be published in the International Journal of Radiation Biology.
Please send the abstract (and booking form) as soon as possible to Dr Monty Charles
at the above address.
Alterations of abstracts will be accepted only up to 2 weeks after the meeting.
Abstracts should present introductory information, results and conclusions. Phrases
such as ".....will be discussed" are not acceptable. References should be kept to a
minimum and included in the text, e.g. (J. Smith, 1984, Int. J. Radiat. Biol., 45, 123).
Type on a separate A4 sheet starting 2.5 cm from the top, with 2 cm margins on
either side and extending no further than halfway down the page (preferably laser
printed).
Abstracts should not be more than 250 words in total, including: title, name and
affiliation of authors and typed, single spaced.
