You might give teflon tubing a try.  It is, obviously, much more inert than
Tygon.  Since you are apparently able to wipe the H-3 off rather easily, I
suspect that physical adsorbtion or diffusion _into_ the plastic is more of
a problem than replacement of H-1 by H-3.   Teflon tubing is not quite as
flexible as Tygon, but will probably suit your needs.
