Re: X-ray crystalography

I haven't been involved in this for a while, but the Bureau of Radiological
Health (now some other name) of the Dept. of Health and Human Services used to
have training material. They had an excellent film, "The Double Edged Sword,"
about x-ray diffraction machine safety, which they supplied at not cost.
Things have probably changed, but I suggest that you try to contact whatever
agency has taken over this.

I've got a general tutorial on analytical x-ray machine safety on the web,
if that's the type of thing she's looking for. The URL is:
http://romulus.ehs.uiuc.edu/DEHS/rad/xray/xray_intro.html
(yes, this is case sensitive)
