Used Equipment Available for Purchase

    Recently there have been postings on RADSAFE from people looking to acquire
    used health physics instrumentation.  We would like to announce that
    Southern California Edison has two used Automatic Bag Monitor's (Model
    ABM-1) manufactured by Hydro Nuclear Services and some Panasonic TLD
    Readers (Models UD710A & UD716AGL) and Changers (Models UD730A & UD736AB)
    for sale.  All equipment is functional and in good condition.
     
    The ABM-1 is a microprocessor-based (Eberline RM-22), Go/No-Go type 
    radiation monitor designed to provide a determination of the presence of 
    gamma contamination in radioactive waste materials.  Asking price is $5000.

    The Panasonic UD710A Automatic TLD Badge Reader and UD710A Charger are both
    15 years old.  Maintained continuously under a semi-annual service
    contract.  All upgrades, including new P-ROMS have been installed.
    -The Panasonic UD716AGL Table Top Automatic Reader and UD736AB Changer are
    8 years old.  Both have been maintained but never used and all upgrades
    have been installed.
    -Asking price for the Readers is $10,000 each and for the Changers is
    $3,000.
