Re: Pregnancy and Air Travel

G'day all

This discussion has really highlighted the fact that perception becomes
reality for most people, especially when faced with risks and hazards that
seem almost abstract to them.

As a comparison, here we have a medic who advises his/her pregnant patients
not to fly - recently I was happy to let my pregnant wife assist in holding
our 18 month old while an isotope cystogram was performed on him. Mind you,
she was well past organogenisis and I did place a PAD on her abdomen just to
be sure!!
